The Standard Care Pack is complimentary with hearing aids purchased from Dilworth Hearing’s Starter+ Technology range and above. Hearing aids from the Starter technology range (including the Need to Hear Program) are not eligible to receive the Standard Care Pack.
20 packets of hearing aid batteries will be supplied which fit the patients hearing aids (totals are halved for monaural fittings).
Free service appointments are available within the first 12-months from purchase of hearing aids and include: Over the counter clean and checks which are available without an appointment, if consumables are required there will be a $20 charge for these items. Free hearing aid adjustment appointments with a clinician. Appointments will be booked as required by the clinic. First annual review appointment is available to book with a clinician at around 12-months to check hearing aids are working optimally.
Ear suction appointments and other specialised appointments are excluded from the free service appointment offering.
Hearing aids may be exchanged for other products (the difference in value to be either paid or refunded), or may be returned for a refund, within 60 days of purchase. Dilworth Hearing reserves the right to refuse to exchange or refund hearing aids where the hearing aid (including its parts) have not been returned or have been damaged or lost. Any refund paid will be the amount paid by the patient only, which will not include any discounts or funders’ contributions (e.g. Government subsidy, Veterans’ Affairs, ACC or insurance contributions).
