      Why book a hearing screening?

Regular checks of your hearing can help you be proactive in early loss detection and management. Here are some of the signs you may be experiencing hearing loss.

Clearer hearing leads to better communication with loved ones, enhanced social interactions, and increased confidence in everyday situations.

Our experienced audiologists will provide a personalised treatment plan based on your test results, ensuring you receive the best possible care and solution for your unique needs.

There is research suggesting a link between untreated hearing loss and cognitive decline, including conditions like dementia. 1 2

Hearing loss can pose safety risks, especially in situations where being aware of sounds is crucial. For example, not hearing alarms or approaching vehicles.

Clear hearing is essential for staying connected with the world around you. Don’t miss out on important conversations, music, or the sounds of nature.

What to expect during your FREE hearing screening appointment.

During the appointment our audiologist will examine your ear with an Otoscope which allows them to look inside the ear canal and view the eardrum.

Following this examination, the audiologist will provide you with a pair of headphones to test your hearing at each frequency.
This test does not provide you with information about the type of hearing loss or any information about middle ear status, it simply indicates if your hearing is where it should be or not.

If hearing loss is detected, your audiologist will recommend you for a full diagnostic hearing assessment.
This assessment will determine the nature of the hearing loss so suitable management options can be recommended.
